Packet pickup and late registration is available on Friday, October 30 from 5PM to 7PM and Saturday, October 31 from 7:30AM to 8:30AM at Alger Middle School (921 Alger St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49507).

Cash, check, and credit cards are accepted for late registrants.

Race Day:

We will be adding some new race instructions once we have more details from the city, the health department and regulation requirements once we get closer to the race. Please continue to check in with us as the race gets closer.
Please arrive early and remember that there is no parking available at Alger Middle School or any of the streets immediately surrounding it. We recommend parking on side streets that are not on the course or walking, if you live nearby.

Dress for the season - this is a Halloween run! While not required, the majority of participants wear a Halloween costume to run in. If you are dressed up, be sure to check in to the costume contest table in the Alger Middle School gym for a chance to win some great prizes.

When lining up in the start shoot, please stand behind the pace sign that is closest to the pace that you will be running or walking. Also, the course is a loop, so be aware that 10K runners may be passing some 5K walkers. To keep everyone safe we ask that walkers stay to the right to keep the left open for those who may be passing.

We do allow joggers/strollers on the course, but we ask that you line up behind those without. Dogs, bikes, rollerblades, scooters, and skateboards are prohibited.

Police will escort the lead runners around the course, but there will also be course marshals at every turn directing you where to go.
There will be one water station along the course at Alger Park Church, approximately 1 mile into the race and once you cross the finish line. For those doing the 10K there will also be one shortly after the 3 mile marker (see map below).
